Updated

Upgrading to Pwika Cloud 2.2.29 or later

Pwika Cloud 2.2.29 was an important update to take into account Adobe’s SVG format changes.

To eliminate confusion about which SVG format is being used:

The sync folder has been renamed to SYNC, in capitals

This page explains the steps to take after your site has been updated by Pwika, but before you make new modifications.

Additionally, modules have been renamed to components for compatibility with Figma.

Changes You Make

You will need to make two changes on your computer:

  • in your project folder, rename the sync folder to SYNC (in capital letters)
  • in SYNC/SYSTEM/Synchronization, create a plain text file called URL.txt
  • in it, type the name of your site (without the https:// or end slash)

If the System folder does not exist, create it.

Update Your Software

Before continuing you’ll need to:

  • update Pwika Tools via the Adobe CC app
  • update Pwika Sync (macOS only)

Re-save Your Pages

For your website to function with the new version of Pwika Cloud, you’ll need to open your pages in Adobe Illustrator and re-save them.

Note: there is a Save All button in Pwika (under MORE+) that will make this easier.

Changes Made by Pwika

These changes enable your website to work with any recent version of Adobe Illustrator:

  • Pwika Vibe updated in Pwika Cloud —› Script Sets
  • Cloud Component updated in Pwika Cloud —› Components

Note: prior to this update, Components were called Modules.
